Tres Leches Cake is a moist and sweet dessert soaked in three types of milk.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for whipping cream)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for whipping cream)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, beating well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whole milk.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture over it.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until thick.
- Spread whipped cream over the cake before serving.
