A simple and delicious pineapple bake recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 can of pineapple slices in juice
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drain the pineapple slices and reserve the juice.
- Melt the butter and mix with brown sugar in a bowl.
- Add flour and baking powder to the mixture and stir.
- Incorporate milk and vanilla extract to form a batter.
- Spread the batter in a greased baking dish.
- Arrange pineapple slices on top of the batter.
- Pour reserved pineapple juice over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream.
- Can substitute fresh pineapple if desired.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
