- 1 can diced tomatoes

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add diced tomatoes and mixed vegetables, stir well.
- In a baking dish, layer the meat mixture.
- Add shredded potatoes on top.
- Sprinkle cheese over the potatoes.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.

- You can substitute ground turkey for beef.
