A festive cake designed to resemble a Thanksgiving turkey.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Food coloring (brown, yellow, red, and orange)
- Fondant for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla.
- Combine flour and baking powder, then add to the wet mixture.
- Divide the batter into separate bowls and color with food coloring.
- Pour the colored batter into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool completely.
- Stack the cakes and shape them to resemble a turkey.
- Decorate with fondant to create turkey features.

- Use a serrated knife to shape the cake easily.
- Keep the cake refrigerated if not served immediately.
