A delicious and easy recipe for Thanksgiving sweet potatoes.
Ingredients

- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and cube sweet potatoes.
- Boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash sweet potatoes.
- Mix in brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Spread mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 20 minutes until marshmallows are golden.
Notes
- Can substitute brown sugar with maple syrup.
- Adjust spices according to taste.
- Can use whipped cream instead of marshmallows.
