- 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil sweet potatoes in a large pot until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl.
- Add brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes.
- Mix well until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- Ensure sweet potatoes are fully cooked before mashing.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For a crunchy topping, add chopped pecans before baking.
