Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup, softened
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 tablespoon

- Onion powder – 1 teaspoon
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage) – 1/4 cup, chopped
- Stuffing – 1 box (or homemade)
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Mashed potatoes – 5 lbs
- Pumpkin pie – 1 (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by rubbing it with butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and herbs.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing, if desired.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Roast the turkey for approximately 3 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes.
- While the turkey cooks, prepare the mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Heat cranberries in a saucepan until they pop.
- Serve the turkey with sides and pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
- Adjust cooking time based on turkey size.
