Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 teaspoon
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Onion – 1 large, chopped
- Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
- Carrots – 2, chopped
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
- Stuffing mix – 1 box
- Cranberries – 1 bag
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Potatoes – 5 lbs
- Milk – 1 cup
- Flour – 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by rubbing butter, salt, pepper, and garlic on it.
- Stuff the turkey with the mixture of onion, celery, carrots, and stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally with chicken broth.
- Cook the cranberries in a pot until they burst and thicken.
- Steam the green beans until tender.
- Peel and boil potatoes until soft, then mash with milk and butter.
- Make gravy with drippings and flour.
- Serve all dishes hot and enjoy your meal.
