A delicious pie recipe perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/4 cup of ice water
- 2 cups of pumpkin puree
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and butter until crumbly.
- Add ice water and form a dough.
- Roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish.
- In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, spices, and eggs.
- Stir in heavy cream until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until set.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Use fresh pumpkin for best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
