Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cold water until the dough forms.
- Roll out dough and cut into circles.
- In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and beaten egg.
- Place filling on half of the dough circles.
- Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pumpkin puree for better flavor.
- Chill the dough for easier handling.
- Experiment with different spices if desired.
