Ingredients

  • Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • Thyme – 2 tsp, dried
  • Rosemary – 2 tsp, dried
  • Salt – 2 tbsp
  • Pepper – 1 tbsp
  • Stuffing – 1 box (14 oz)
  • Cranberry sauce – 1 can (14 oz)
  • Mashed potatoes – 5 lbs potatoes
  • Green beans – 2 lbs
  • Pumpkin pie – 1 (9-inch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by rubbing it with butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff the turkey with stuffing.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  5. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes.
  6. While the turkey roasts, prepare mashed potatoes and green beans.
  7. Make the cranberry sauce according to the can’s instructions.
  8. Serve the turkey with sides and finish with pumpkin pie.

Notes

  • Rest the turkey for 20 minutes before carving.
  • Use the turkey drippings for gravy.
