A classic Thanksgiving main dish featuring roasted turkey with savory stuffing.

			- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 2 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the stuffing by combining bread cubes, onion, celery, butter, broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Stuff the turkey cavity with the prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 to 4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Remove the foil in the last hour to allow the skin to brown.
- Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.

- Save any leftover stuffing for baking separately.
