Ingredients

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

- Use different cheeses for varied flavor.
- Add cooked bacon or vegetables for extra ingredients.
