- 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the flour and whisk constantly for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Slowly pour in the vegetable broth while whisking to avoid lumps.
- Add onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
- Serve warm over your favorite dishes.
