Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder – 1 tablespoon
- Onion powder – 1 tablespoon
- Thyme – 2 teaspoons
- Rosemary – 2 teaspoons
- Cranberries – 2 cups
- Honey – 1/2 cup
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Almonds – 1/2 cup (sliced)
- Potatoes – 3 lbs
- Butter – 1/2 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes.
- While the turkey cooks, prepare the cranberry sauce by combining cranberries and honey in a pot over medium heat until the berries burst.
- Steam the green beans and toss with sliced almonds.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
- Slice the turkey and serve with cranberry sauce, green beans, and mashed potatoes.
