- 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté onion and celery until soft.
- Add stuffing mix and chicken broth, and mix well.
- Stuff the turkey with the mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and season with salt and pepper.
- Roast in the oven for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- You can use store-bought stuffing for convenience.
- Ensure the turkey is fully thawed before cooking.
- Cover the turkey with foil for the first half of cooking to retain moisture.
