Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 pounds)
- Stuffing – 1 box
- Potatoes – 5 pounds
- Green beans – 1 pound
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pumpkin pie – 1
- Butter – 1 cup
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Onion – 1 large
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Stuff the turkey with stuffing mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Meanwhile, peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter and salt.
- Steam green beans until tender.
- Serve cranberry sauce alongside the turkey.
- Slice the pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Allow turkey to rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- Make stuffing ahead of time for convenience.
