- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups bread stuffing
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 3 cups green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup gravy
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and rinsing it with cold water.
- Stuff the turkey with bread stuffing.
- Brush the turkey with melted butter and place it in a roasting pan.
- Pour chicken broth into the pan.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Cook the green beans and prepare the mashed potatoes.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans, and mashed potatoes.
- Finish with pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Use leftover turkey for sandwiches.
