Delicious pumpkin dessert perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in heavy cream until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be made a day in advance.
