Ingredients

- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Stir in evaporated milk.
- Pour mixture into pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute sweet potato for pumpkin.
