Creamy and cheesy potatoes perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash potatoes in a large bowl.
- Add sour cream, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, butter, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
