A simple and flavorful dish of carrots cooked in a crockpot for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Place the carrots in the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, butter, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots.
- Stir to coat the carrots evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
- Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on your crockpot model.
- For a sweeter taste, add more honey.
