A guide to scoring bread for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread
- Flour for dusting
- Water for steaming
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Lightly dust the top of the bread with flour.
- Use a sharp knife or lame to score the top of the bread.
- Make a few diagonal cuts, about 1/4 inch deep.
- Place the bread in the oven with a pan of water for steam.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
