Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound beef, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Cover dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- In a pan, heat sesame oil. Add ginger and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add beef, soy sauce, and cook until tender.
- Divide dough into small balls, flatten them, and fill with beef mixture.
- Steam buns for 15 minutes until fluffy.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the dough rises in a warm place.
- Use a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.
