A hearty and flavorful taco soup that is easy to make.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
- Stir in beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and taco seasoning.
- Add beef broth and water, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot with toppings if desired.
Notes
- Can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Add jalapenos for heat.
- Top with cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
