Description

A hearty and flavorful taco bake casserole that combines layers of seasoned beef, tortillas, cheese, and toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned.
  3. Add taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and salsa to the skillet.
  4. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer three tortillas on the bottom.
  6. Spread half of the beef mixture over the tortillas.
  7. Sprinkle with one cup of cheese.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining tortillas, beef mixture, and cheese.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Top with sour cream and green onions.
