- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pierce the sweet potatoes with a fork and bake for 45 minutes.
- Let the sweet potatoes cool, then peel and mash them.
- In a bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Spread the mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with marshmallows.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes until the marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
- You can add nuts for extra crunch.
