A delicious sweet almond pastry filled with almond cream.
Ingredients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, and powdered sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and combine.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with slivered almonds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or cold.
- Use almond extract for a stronger almond flavor.
