Instructions

  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.
  4. Add oil, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
