- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar.
- In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and milk.
- Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the flour mixture and stir well.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Spread the peach mixture over the batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream for extra flavor.
- Use canned peaches if fresh ones are not available.
