Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dandelion flowers
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package (1.75 oz) fruit pectin
  • 5 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Gather dandelion flowers and rinse them thoroughly.
  2. In a pot, boil the flowers in water for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the liquid into a clean bowl, discarding the flowers.
  4. Add lemon juice and pectin to the liquid, stirring well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add sugar gradually, stirring constantly.
  6. Boil for 1-2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  7. Pour the jelly into sterilized jars and seal them.
  8. Let cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use only fresh dandelion flowers, free from pesticides.
