Description

A savory grilled cheese sandwich featuring sun-dried tomatoes, bacon, and pesto.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons of pesto
  • 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Spread pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the non-pesto side, layer sun-dried tomatoes, bacon, and mozzarella cheese.
  3. Top with another slice of bread, pesto side down.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  5. Cook the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
