- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and celery. Cook until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the chicken broth and mix well.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
