Description

Delicious strawberry truffles made with fresh strawberries and chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Puree the strawberries in a blender.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the strawberry puree to the mixture and blend well.
  4. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes.
  5. Form small balls from the mixture.
  6. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate.
  8. Place on parchment paper to set.

Notes

  • Use ripe strawberries for better flavor.
  • Store truffles in the refrigerator.
  • For a different flavor, you can add a splash of liqueur.
