Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries.
  2. Insert lollipop sticks into the stems of the strawberries.
  3. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water, and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  5. Continue boiling without stirring until the mixture reaches a hard crack stage (300°F or 150°C).
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute.
  7. Dip each strawberry in the sugar syrup, coating it evenly.
  8. Place the coated strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet to harden.
