Description

A refreshing strawberry sago dessert that is light and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soak sago pearls in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil water in a pot and add sago pearls. Cook until translucent, about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain and rinse sago under cold water.
  4. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat until sugar dissolves.
  5. Add cooked sago and chopped strawberries to the coconut mixture. Stir well.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with extra strawberries on top.
  • Adjust sugar to taste based on strawberry sweetness.
  • Can be made a day ahead.
