- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp strawberry puree
- 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, matcha powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on a wire rack.
- For frosting, mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk until smooth.
- Frost the cooled cookies and let set before serving.
