Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of strawberry puree
  • 1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Use a fork to poke holes all over the cake.
  7. Mix the strawberry puree and pour it over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
  8. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Fold in the whipped topping.
  10. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake.
  11. Top with sliced strawberries.
  12. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
