  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  4. Gradually add flour until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  6. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  8. Spread melted butter on the dough.
  9. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and raisins on top.
  10. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rounds.
  11. Arrange the rounds in a greased ring-shaped pan.
  12. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  13. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  14. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
