Description

Steak pasta is a delightful dish that combines the rich flavors of tender steak with the comforting texture of pasta, perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients

  • Fettuccine: 250 grams (about 9 ounces)
  • Ribeye Steak: 300 grams (about 10.5 ounces)
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Olive Oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Cherry Tomatoes: 200 grams (about 1.5 cups), halved
  • Fresh Spinach: 150 grams (about 5 ounces)
  • Parmesan Cheese: 50 grams (about 1/2 cup), grated
  • Salt and Pepper: To taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ribeye steak by letting it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let it rest after cooking.
  3. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  4. In the same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds, then add cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine the cooked fettuccine with the sautéed vegetables, adding reserved pasta water to create a light sauce.
  7. Plate the fettuccine, top with sliced ribeye steak, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add optional ingredients like herbs, red pepper flakes, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Experiment with different sauces such as Alfredo, pesto, or tomato sauce to customize your dish.
  • For a vegetarian version, consider using grilled Portobello mushrooms or tofu instead of steak.
