Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture all over the standing rib roast.
- Place the roast bone-side down in a roasting pan.
- Roast in the oven for 20 minutes to sear the meat.
- Reduce the temperature to 325°F (160°C) and continue roasting for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
