Description
A delicious spicy tuna sushi bowl topped with crispy rice.
Ingredients

- 1 cup sushi rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 lb sushi-grade tuna, diced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Soy sauce for serving
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let rice sit covered for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix diced tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, and sesame oil.
- In a pan, heat oil and add panko breadcrumbs. Cook until golden brown.
- Once rice is cool, form into small patties and fry until crispy.
- Assemble the bowl with rice patties, spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber, and green onions.
- Serve with soy sauce.
Notes
- Adjust spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
- Use fresh sushi-grade tuna for best results.
- Can substitute avocado with other toppings like radish or seaweed.
