Description

Spicy Cajun Deviled Eggs are a flavorful twist on a classic appetizer. They feature a creamy filling with a kick from Cajun spices.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in cold water. Peel the eggs once cooled.
  3. Slice the eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, mash the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Garnish with chopped chives.

  • Adjust the level of hot sauce based on your heat preference.
  • For a creamier filling, add more mayonnaise.
