Description
Spicy Cajun Deviled Eggs are a flavorful twist on a classic appetizer. They feature a creamy filling with a kick from Cajun spices.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chives for garnish
Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs in cold water. Peel the eggs once cooled.
- Slice the eggs in half and remove the yolks.
- In a bowl, mash the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Garnish with chopped chives.
Notes
- Adjust the level of hot sauce based on your heat preference.
- For a creamier filling, add more mayonnaise.
- These can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
