Description

A flavorful dish of fettuccine pasta tossed with spicy Cajun chicken and creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions.
  2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  5. Remove chicken and slice into strips.
  6. In the same skillet, add bell peppers and onions, sauté until soft.
  7. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  9. Add cooked fettuccine and chicken, toss to combine.
  10. Season with salt and pepper, serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired.
