Ingredients

- 4 cups cornbread, crumbled
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and celery; sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables, and seasonings.
- In another bowl, mix chicken broth and beaten eggs.
- Pour broth mixture into cornbread mixture; stir until combined.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.

- Use homemade cornbread for best flavor.
- Adjust seasonings to your taste.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
