Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon sage

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and celery; sauté until soft.
  4. In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables, and seasonings.
  5. In another bowl, mix chicken broth and beaten eggs.
  6. Pour broth mixture into cornbread mixture; stir until combined.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
