Description

Classic Southern-Style Deviled Eggs with a creamy filling.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of water.
  2. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, then cool in ice water.
  3. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  5. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper to the yolks.
  6. Mash the mixture until smooth.
  7. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  8. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce to the yolk mixture.
  • Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
