Description
Crispy southern salmon croquettes made with fresh salmon and herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can of salmon (14.75 oz)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Drain the salmon and flake it into a bowl.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
- Can substitute canned salmon with fresh cooked salmon.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
