A sweet and crunchy treat made with pecans and caramel.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and cream over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt.
- Fold in the toasted pecans until well coated.
- Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let cool.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Best consumed within a week.
- Can be made ahead of time for holidays.
