Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and cream over medium heat.
  4. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
  5. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
  6. Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt.
  7. Fold in the toasted pecans until well coated.
  8. Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let cool.
