Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk and egg.
- Dip chicken pieces in the buttermilk mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Let the coated chicken rest for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-18 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
