A creamy and sweet southern blackberry cobbler ice cream with a rich flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crumbled biscuit cookies
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine blackberries and 1/2 cup sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, and remaining sugar.
- Gently fold in the blackberry mixture.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add crumbled biscuit cookies.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe blackberries for better flavor.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
